Celebrate the Halloween season with an exclusive opportunity to step inside one of Staten Island's most iconic historic homes: the Kreischer Mansion.
We’ll start at 6:30PM at Killmeyer’s Old Bavaria Inn for some light bites, and move up the street to Kreischer Mansion for the tour shortly before 8:00. All tickets include both Killmeyer’s and the tour.

Join Michael Pelczar, local history enthusiast and founder of Spooky Staten Island, for an evening of storytelling and a guided tour of the house.
You'll learn about Balthasar Kreischer, the brick baron whose factories helped rebuild New York City after the Great Fire of 1835, and about the company town he built around them. You'll hear about the 1894 death of his son, Edward, a tragedy that fractured the family and marked the beginning of the end for the Kreischer name on Staten Island. And you'll hear how a 2005 case put this landmark back in the headlines a century later.
Plus a few stories that never made the papers.
