Pay it Forward with the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce

The COVID-19 Pandemic has had a devastating effect on Staten Island businesses; and many of our members are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to pay membership. Fortunately, many others have reached out with the same question: “How can I help?”

Since the day one of the pandemic, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce has been on the forefront, working tirelessly to support our businesses. We are committed to helping our members navigate this crisis - and come out stronger on the other side. With a rapidly transforming and unclear future ahead, small businesses need your help - now more than ever.

“You guys are like pixie fairy guardian angels. The generosity of Chamber, Staten Island, and beyond is fantabulous.”

The Chamber understands that many businesses are facing difficult financial decisions. That’s why we are launching our Pay it Forward campaign, which will enable you to sponsor a member to support their membership dues. For larger businesses looking to support smaller business, this will go a long way to support their recovery.

Your assistance- no matter how big or small - will sponsor struggling businesses or not-for-profits, ensuring they have access to Chamber benefits including:

  • Informing our members on critical news, updates, and guidance on a daily basis

  • Issuing guidance on grant & loan opportunities, legal assistance, HR and hiring expertise, and access to new technology needed to sustain business

  • Highlighting our businesses’ news, promotions, and activities

  • Advocating for the Staten Island business community through our involvement in Mayor de Blasio’s Small Business Sector Task Force, alongside our fellow New York City Borough Chambers.

  • Producing informative webinars alongside prominent partners, including elected officials, community partners, and professional services

  • Offering online job postings and screenings to restore disrupted workforces

  • Distributing free PPE for businesses and their staffs in partnership with the New York City Department of Small Business Services
