As part of our 2022 Annual Meeting, the Chamber is celebrating Members who have been with the Chamber for 50 or 25 years.

On a crisp, October evening, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce partnered with Spooky Staten Island to host a spooky Ghost Walk tour of historic Woodland Cemetery.

“We love having the Chamber as a resource because when clients of ours have questions, the Chamber always has the answer. We are also constantly referring clients to the online directory if they need a recommendation for a specific service. The Chamber has it all.”

“We want to be involved in Staten Island, and we want to be good neighbors and corporate citizens,” says Davey on Pratt’s Chamber membership. “If anyone has any issues, we’d rather them come talk to us directly than going to external sources. We want to have a presence within the business community.”

“We’ve had younger staff members that were rising within the organization who wanted to be involved in the community, so they joined the Chamber’s Business Guilds. I can’t tell you how wonderful those services have been for our organization.”

Approximately 50 Chamber members gathered at Rab’s for an evening of networking, appetizers, and, of course, bowling.

“The mixers that the Chamber hosts are also a great way to get yourself out there and meet other businesspeople,” adds Kracsun. “We always try to take advantage of those when we can. The Chamber is the perfect fit for us.”

The program trains and equips leaders from state and local chambers of commerce, economic development agencies, and trade associations with resources, access to experts, and a network of peers to build their capacity to address the most pressing education and workforce challenges.

“We trust the Chamber to be there and do that community-based small business advocacy because ultimately it benefits us and our clients,” says DTGD.

“We gain from the Chamber,’” remarks Sciame. “We’re always doing collaborative work. We’re partners.”

On Thursday, August 18th, approximately thirty Chamber members convened at Dave & Buster’s in the Staten Island Mall for a fun afternoon of “Games with the Geeks,” an educational and recreational event co-hosted by the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and Tekie Geek.

This summer, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce invited its membership for coffee with the Island’s three Councilmembers.

Linda Baran, President & CEO of the Chamber, was highlighted in the most recent issue of Industry Magazine as a Staten Island "Power Player."

The message is clear: don’t trash on Staten Island.

On Thursday, July 21, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce joined the Staten Island Ferryhawks for the first “Business and Baseball” Day.

On Wednesday, July 13, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and the Staten Island Advance continued their longstanding tradition of honoring the best of Staten Island’s police officers at the 2022 Police Officer of the Year Awards.

On Saturday, May 21, Staten Islanders were greeted to a slice of Paris at the Chamber’s 2022 Moulin Rouge Gala.
