To celebrate, we’re celebrating some of Staten Island’s women-owned businesses in the Chamber, Downtown Staten Island, and within the NYC Small Business Resource Network.

Nine Staten Island business professionals were honored at the Chamber’s flagship event.

As part of Black History Month, we’re highlighting black-owned businesses in Staten Island.

February is Black History Month, and we have some great opportunities to assist small, black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. 

“One of the best things we have going for ourselves is the family and our commitment to each other, the business, and the community,” added Fitzsimmons. 

“We overspend our donations. That much I can tell you. Our budget is blown off the roof,” laughed Jeanine.

Starting today and running through February 2022, customers can shop from the comfort of their own homes and receive free shipping and delivery via Small Business Express. 

“As Lou Miller helped me in my business, I wanted to follow in his footsteps and do the same type of thing,” said Amodio.

Borough President Vito Fossella and the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce have partnered up for New Years Eve: Part II, an Island-wide initiative that encourages patronizing our local restaurants, bars, and caterers on January 29.
