The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce kicked off the first day of summer with its latest Business After Hours networking mixer Thursday at Flagship Brewery in St. George.

With small businesses playing such a vital role on Staten Island, Congressman Dan Donovan spent his Tuesday morning sitting down with members of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and the small business community to provide updates that could prove to be beneficial to business owners.

A Panther and a Pirate took home the top prizes during the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce’s 5th annual High School Golf Invitational at LaTourette Golf Course.

Petrides High School senior Mark Stuto finished with a 5-over 77 to win first place in the boys’ portion while Tottenville High School senior Blossom Yu shot a 15-over 87 to garner the top spot in the girls’ portion.
