SICC and Brooklyn Chamber Host Joint Meetup
On August 13, more than 100 members and guests from both sides of the bridge came together for a special cross-Chamber Member Meet Up with the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce at a Staten Island FerryHawks game.
The evening kicked off on the field, where Staten Island Chamber President & CEO Linda Baran and Brooklyn Chamber President & CEO Randy Peers threw out the ceremonial first pitches. Guests then enjoyed networking and the game, followed by remarks from FerryHawks GM Gary Perone, Baran, and Peers, who also hosted a Brooklyn Made Store gift card giveaway.
Member of the Brooklyn Chamber traveled to the event via the NYC Fast Ferry, which expanded its routes to include Brooklyn in early 2026.
The event offered members of both Chambers a fun and relaxed opportunity to make new connections, strengthen relationships across the boroughs, and enjoy a summer evening at the ballpark.
