Chamber Honors Eight Individuals at 2026 “Lou Miller” Awards

On February 11, 2026, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2026 Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Awards.

The event was sponsored by Signature Sponsors Gateway Arms Realty, National Grid, Northfield Bank, and Valley Bank, as well as Partner Sponsors Comserv Connect, Empire State Bank, and Safari Realty.

The 2026 Honorees were Anne and Frank Bennett of AF Bennett, Eric Campione of P.A.C. Plumbing, Heating, and A/C, Eddie Canlon of Canlon’s Restaurant, Megan Coppola of Beans and Leaves, Christine DeHart of Salmon Real Estate, Emilio Larrosa of Vincent’s Barber Shop, and Frank Puleo of Framboise Catering.

As is tradition, each honoree was “roasted” by a close friend or colleague. This year’s roasters were Frank Wilkinson of Rab’s Country Lanes (roasting Chef Puleo and DeHart), Frank Morisano of the FDNY (retired, roasting Chef Canlon), Kristin Glessner and Nick Rautenstrauch of Beans and Leaves (roasting Coppola), James West of the NYS Unified Court System (roasting Campione), Luanne Sorrentino (roasting the Bennetts), and John Kilcullen (roasting Larrosa).

Staten Island District Attorney Mike McMahon and Councilmember Frank Morano also attended the event and extended their thanks and congratulations to the honorees.

Each recipient was highlighted a background story, written by the Chamber’s Danielle Wiseman and jointly published by the Chamber and the Staten Island Advance. All of the 2026 honoree stories can be found at www.sichamber.com/lm2026.

The event committee was led by Michele Esposito (Staten Island Chamber) and Co-Chaired by Solomon Chemo (Wells Fargo Advisors) and Janet Langton-Magnuson (Richmond Home need Services). John J. Amodio (SCORE Staten Island), Michael Assenza (Stat-Land Security Services), Chris Ferrera (Comserv Connect), Donna Long (Staten Island Women, Inc.), MaryLee Montalvo (MLM Public Relations), Tatiana Sabatelli (Nonprofit Staten Island), and Shawn Stradford, Sr. (Stradford Home for Funerals and Cremations) served on the committee.
