The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce invites all businesses to light up the holidays and enter the Chamber’s Second Holiday Decorating Contest!

We’re celebrating businesses that decorate for the holidays! The contest is a fun way to celebrate the Holiday Season, create festive and beautiful shopping districts, attract visitors, and showcase your business.

The Staten Island Chamber will coordinate the contest and highlight participating businesses using select media channels before, during, and after the contest.

Submissions are due by December 19. Winners will be announced December 23.

How it Works:

  1. Starting December, all submission photos will be posted on this page as well as the Staten Island Chamber’s Facebook Page.

  2. Participants can submit a decorating of any kind.

  3. All of the participants’ submissions will be highlighted, and will include the business name, address, and a brief description of the business.

  4. The entrants will be judged by three metrics:

    1. Theme: how well do the elements tie together? Do all of the individual parts combine to create a cohesive and vibrant holiday display?

    2. Execution: how are the elements displayed? Are supports (strings, boxes, etc.) visible?

    3. Uniqueness: how well does the display integrate with the business and the services/products they provide?

  5. The winners will be announced the week of Christmas and will receive a $100 gift card and a $25 restaurant gift card.

Chamber Members can apply for a $25 fee.
Non-Members can apply for $50.
All Staten Island small businesses are welcome to participate.

Let’s get in the holiday spirit and support small businesses!
