Former SI Chamber intern Hudik selected as a Wagner College football captain

MICHAEL ANDERSON - Content Development Specialist - August 30, 2018
Wagner College opens its football season today with a 6 p.m. kickoff against Bowie State at Hameline Field atop Grymes Hill. While the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce always roots for the Seahawks since they’ve been a member since 1991, there may be a little more rooting interest in the football team this year since summer intern and Wagner offensive lineman Brady Hudik was recently named one of the five Seahawks captains for this coming season.

The senior has been a durable and valuable leader on the Seahawk offensive line throughout his career. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Bordentown, N.J. native was named to the 2017 Academic All-District First Team for District 1 as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of

America (CoSIDA). The Business Administration major is also a three-time NEC Academic Honor Roll member and has been named to the 2017 NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.75 GPA or better) each of the past two years.
