SCORE Staten Island Seminar Oct. 18 to Spotlight

Online Version of QuickBooks for Small Businesses

Free workshop will showcase general design and operation of an online accounting system

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Small-business operators and accountants serving commercial clients can take a step toward greater efficiency at a SCORE Staten Island workshop to be hosted Oct. 18.

Presented by Richmond County Savings Bank, a division of New York Community Bank, Member FDIC, the free seminar, “ONLINE - Basic QuickBooks For Small Businesses,” will feature a presentation by QuickBooks-certified expert Anthony Bonelli of the accounting, bookkeeping and tax services firm Bonelli & Associates, LLC.

The learning objective of the workshop is to “go over the general design and operation of an online accounting system, invoicing customers, tracking and paying bills, importing transactions from banks, and creating reports,” Bonelli said.

The seminar will take place Wednesday, Oct. 18, 9:15 to 11:15 a.m., in the President’s Room of the Bernikow Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Staten Island; 1466 Manor Road, Sea View.

CPE CREDITS AVAILABLE

Presented in collaboration with the Foundation for Accounting Education, Staten Island Chapter of the NYS Society of CPA’s, two CPE credits will be available to attendees.
