The Chamber believes strongly in the importance of grooming future leaders in Staten Island, and as such, the YPG Leadership Council was recently formed. The Chamber selected 12 individuals from the YPG who have exemplified leadership and commitment to moving the general YPG agenda forward to participate in this council. They meet monthly to coordinate signature events for the general YPG such as a Legislative Forum and Business by the Beach. The group also takes part in professional development workshops. Their participation in quality workshops will ultimately facilitate the development of their skills and techniques as future leaders. It is our goal that these skill sets act as an impetus for future involvement as successful leaders in the community.
